La maquinaria pesada está compuesta por las distintas máquinas rodantes utilizadas para la construcción o minería, destinada exclusivamente a obras industriales. El tránsito de este tipo de maquinaria está prohibido en las vías públicas debido a sus características técnicas y físicas.

Excavadora Hidráulica – Este tipo de maquinaria consiste en una pala excavadora, autopropulsada en un neumático hidráulico, con una estructura que permite su giro a 360º en ambos sentidos y de manera ininterrumpida. Puede utilizarse para excavar terrenos, o carga, descarga, elevado y giro o trasporte de materiales por la acción de la pala.
