El Puerto de Santander (España) ha abierto la convocatoria para presentar ofertas relacionadas con un espacio de 60.000 m² para instalar un nuevo aparcamiento que permita combinar las obras de construcción del silo vertical de automóviles con las operaciones de importación y exportación de coches.
El contrato que ofrece la Autoridad Portuaria exige un período de ejecución de tres meses, el cual implicará una inversión de casi 700.000 euros. El plazo para la licitación estará abierto hasta el próximo 17 de marzo.
Teniendo en cuenta que se están ejecutando las obras del silo, el aumento de la actividad de CLdN y la nueva terminal de contenedores, todo ello en el Espigón Central de Raos, se necesita reordenar la zona y buscar espacios temporales que faciliten el tráfico de contenedores.
Además de estas operaciones, recientemente el Puerto de Santander ha recibido un gran cargamento de carbono sódico. Y es que, Solvay se está encargando de la operativa del buque ‘Poplar Arrow’ con 35.625 toneladas de carbonato sódico con destino Brasil, y procedente de la fábrica de la compañía en un municipio cántabro de Torrelavega.
