Diseñado para su uso tanto en el interior del vehículo como en exteriores, el PRO 8475 es resistente a las caídas, a las roturas, a los golpes, a los rayos UV, a las vibraciones, al polvo y al agua. Esto lo hace perfecto para conductores que necesiten llevar consigo el dispositivo en terrenos y condiciones potencialmente difíciles durante largos periodos de tiempo.
Se trata de una tableta versátil, con una pantalla de 7 pulgadas de alta calidad y bajo reflejo, en una carcasa resistente. Equipada con Google Services, incluye notificaciones push para mejorar la comunicación, acceso a la tienda Google Play y aplicaciones como Chrome, Gmail y Google Maps. La conectividad inalámbrica con LTE soporta velocidades de descarga rápidas, así como conexión mediante Wi-Fi, Bluetooth y NFC/RFID para una comunicación inalámbrica y un uso profesional.
Además ofrece la mejor navegación para camiones de su clase, ya que utiliza la compleja red de datos de tráfico TomTom LIVE y algoritmos avanzados para determinar las rutas más adecuadas y tiempos estimados de llegada precisos. Los mapas preinstalados también están disponibles para su uso sin conexión.
En combinación con Webfleet ofrece funcionalidad de gestión de flotas con mensajería y gestión de pedidos entre los conductores y la base. Facilita la gestión de los tiempos de trabajo y el registro del kilometraje. Además OptiDrive 360 proporciona formación a los conductores en el vehículo y comentarios sobre su estilo de conducción.
